BlaZe Creator (platformer game maker)

HellBlade and i have set into making a Platformer game creator.
and so At 5:37pm NZ time, BlaZe Creator was born!

It will be as simple as 001 for those who need something they can easily relate it to for an idea.
Sneek Peek ideas:
Instead of button mashing to swing a sword, we will have it so your hands follow your mouse, so all you do is swing your mouse and THWACK!
-Even easier inscreen spriting-easily make a new sprite in preset demensions-or change them for fast and easy sprite editing, no confusion guessing how big you should make the sprite.

Ok here's some details;

Programmer = Me Very Happy
Graphics = Hiko

Requirements = Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (3.5 might be needed later on)

Software type: Freeware (as far as I know)

Coolness = 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Yeah, but it might take a while Wink I am running into some problems but thats what happens when programming but I should be able to over come these problems

In the runtime, i made it so the player can't go out the side Smile

Now, I will work on the editor before I do more of the runtime. I have also mostly done collisions, so you cannot walk into characters and objects

The 'main' problem I currently have is I don't know how I am going to save maps, I have a way it might work but it might not work. The second major problem I have is camera view, I don't know how I am going to do this because I'm not using DirectX or OpenGl but I think I know a way to do it, just i might not be able to do camera like 001 where you can script it to make it change position.

save them to the game folder that is made when a person starts a game?

And so it will be. Hell- seeing how you may reed this- we need to share control of each others comps next time on MSN so we can both see im more depth what we are both doing..then we can coordinate development more cleanly

I know that, just not HOW to save them, like save where the tiles and stuff are
