It's a rather painful experience the first time, but you get used to it.

Good to know Wink

Grrr, yesterday I plugged my ipod into my computer to charge, and I forgot about it when I shutdown the computer but I thought it would be OK. BUT last night when I went to play a song, it COMPLETELY FROZE!!! I couldn't unfreeze it...I had to leave it all night until it's battery became flat..When I woke up, I turned it on and saw there was a tiny bit of battery left so I thought, WTH, i'm going to try play a song....and it worked....stupid Apple should have made it so you can just restart the thing, instead of wasting your fully charged battery...or atleast when it is frozen it should just restart but it's frozen so it may not be able to do so...

You can reset iPods (the classics and nanos). Just unlock the click wheel and hold the center and menu buttons for about 6-8 seconds. It'll reset.

But yeah, my iPod freezes all the time. It's really annoying.

Lol, if they can predict the times when it freezes then they would be able to make it not freeze Razz

However if microsoft could predict freezes they would just put a warning over the top Laughing

They may even post it under the "Known Bugs" section if you were lucky Laughing

That would be a good idea.

"It appears your iPod has frozen. To fix this, simply hold the menu and center buttons until it fixes itself."
